For 2027 the Toyota Sequoia is getting a slew of updates, bringing sharper styling, upgraded technology, enhanced safety features, and even more capability to Toyota’s full-size SUV. For Seattle-area drivers looking for a vehicle that can handle family life, road trips, and Pacific Northwest adventures, the new Sequoia has plenty to look forward to.

One of the biggest additions for 2027 is the available Trailhunter Package. Designed with off-road and overlanding adventures in mind, it features an upgraded Old Man Emu suspension, Michelin LTX Trail tires, bronze-finished 18-inch wheels, front recovery hooks, enhanced underbody protection, Multi-Terrain Select, Crawl Control, and a locking rear differential.

Inside, every 2027 Sequoia receives a standard 14-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen, along with Toyota’s latest-generation multimedia system and a new built-in Drive Recorder Dash Cam. Toyota Safety Sense 4.0 also comes standard, adding the newest generation of Toyota’s active safety and driver-assistance technology.

The 2027 lineup will include SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, TRD Pro, and Capstone grades, giving drivers plenty of options ranging from everyday family versatility to premium comfort and serious off-road capability. Toyota says additional specifications and pricing will be announced closer to production in fall 2026.
